Kundalini Yoga
Dynamic breath, mantra, and movement to awaken energy and steady the mind.
Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of energy and awareness. Each class is built around a kriya — a deliberate sequence of postures, breath patterns (pranayama), mantra, and meditation — designed to move and balance subtle energy in the body. Unlike the steady pace of Hatha, Kundalini is rhythmic, sometimes fast, and often accompanied by chant. Eileen earned her Kundalini certification in September 2023 and teaches with a grounded, practical voice — no mysticism without a reason for it.

Format
Live group classes over Zoom. Class size kept small. Eileen will indicate variations and pace adjustments as we go.

Adults open to a more rhythmic, breath-driven practice. Especially supportive for those navigating mental fatigue, low energy, or feeling stuck. New to Kundalini? It's accessible — Eileen explains every kriya and modifies as needed.
What to Expect
What happens in a kundalini yoga session?
- Tuning in with a centering mantra to mark the start of practice
- A specific kriya — a sequence of postures, pranayama, and mantra working a specific energetic intent (energy, immunity, focus, calm)
- A long deep breathing or breath of fire practice woven through
- A meditation, often paired with mantra
- A closing relaxation and gratitude
How to Prepare
What should you bring?
- A yoga mat
- A blanket or shawl for the meditation segment
- Loose, comfortable clothing — natural fibers if possible
- Water nearby
- An empty stomach, ideally 2+ hours after eating
